Base slots are also limited per account.  To calculate the total number of base slots on an account, calculate the base slots for each alt using the above formula.  Then, perform the following calculation using each alt's base slots:  (alt #1 / 1) + (alt #2 / 2) + (alt #3 / 3) + (alt #4 / 4) + (alt #5 / 5) = account base slots available.  Take as an example an account with 3 alts, each having 36 base slots (Station Management 16 and Station Research 2).  To determine the account base slots you would calculate (36/1) + (36/2) + (36/3) = 36 + 18 + 12 = 66.  The 66 account base slots can be distributed over the 3 alts in any way the player likes, as long as none of the alts exceeds his own base slot limit of 36.  Since Ambrosia bases take 6 slots, alt #1 could have 6 Ambrosia bases (36 slots used), and alt #2 could have 5 ambrosia bases (30 slots used), but that would use all 66 account slots and leave no account slots available for alt #3.  Account slots are used on a first come, first served basis among your alts.  When you attempt to lay a base, the game simply checks to make sure you have enough account base slots AND enough base slots for that individual alt.  If there are insufficient slots in either category,  you won't be allowed to deploy the base.

In Star Sonata Station Management allows you to place Station Kits of a given tech level.

The cost of skill points in this category is static at 1 per level. Credit costs are equal to the level squared, multiplied by 1,000,000. So for level 12, it would cost 12^2*1000000=133,100,000 credits.

Other Information

Station Slots

You have a number of station slots equal to twice your level in this skill plus twice your level in Station Research. Each space station takes a number of station slots according to its tech level as follows:

Station Kit Level Station slots
Arcadian 0 2
Apollo 3 2
Ares 6 3
Adonis 9 4
Argonaut 12 5
Ambrosia 14 6
Andaman 16 7
Achilles 18 8
Annihilator 20 9

For example, a player with Station Management 16 and Station Research 2 would have 2*16 + 2*2 = 36 station slots. He could place 9 Adonis bases (4*9 = 36), or 6 Ambrosia bases (6*6 = 36) or 4 Andaman bases and 2 Adonis bases at the same time (4*7 + 2*4 = 36).

Account Slots
