Station Kits
From Starsonata Wiki
Station Kits can be used to create a player Base. Unattached kits can be deployed in any clear space in a buildable galaxy. To deploy a kit a player must have Station Management skill equal or higher than the tech of the kit. Attached kits must be attached to a Planet or Moon by selecting the object then using the kit by double clicking. There is a maximum of 25 kits in one galaxy. The amount of kits a character can deploy depends on the tech of the kit, the levels of Station Management and Station Research the character has, and how many kits have been deployed already by other characters on the same account, as detailed here. The number of solar panels a kit can equip is 2/5ths of its diameter. Kits can be abandoned through the [X] menu or by being without rations for too long. They can also be destroyed.

- TL is the tech level in Station Management needed to deploy the kit
- Size is how much hull space the kit takes up
- Augs is how many Augmenters can be equipped
- Weaps is how many Weapons can be equipped
- Vis is amount of Visibility the kit has
- Diam is the diameter or how large the deployed kit is graphically
- Weight is how much the kit weighs
- Inbuilt Elec is how much electricity is generated by the kit itself
- LS, ES, HS,PS, RS, SS, MS, TS are the respective Soaks for the Laser, Energy, Heat, Physical, Radiation, Surgical, Mining and Transference damage types.
- LR, ER, HR,PR, RR, SR, MR, TR are the respective Resistances for the Laser, Energy, Heat, Physical, Radiation, Surgical, Mining and Transference damage types.
- Mods are the built in stat bonuses of the kit
- Source/Price is where to get the kit and for how much
- Description is the flavor text on the kit
- Comments are the other miscellaneous bits of information about the kit
- Items found on the kit when it is deployed
