The Sublime Surge is an mobility tweak and envelope device. It increases the user's thrust and speed at the cost of turning, and creates an envelopment around the user for a few seconds. This super is shared across all four introductory Empyreal ships, but is lost once an upgrade path is applied.
This ship has two upgrade paths:
Empyreal Aphelion - stealth-oriented
Empyreal Perihelion - speed-oriented
In addition to being a player ship, AI versions can be found roaming the Kalthi Depths, and within the Empyrean zone. They will gain incredible agility when provoked, and will barrage opponents with AoE pulses that will reduce your tracking. Beam and high-speed magcannon-type weapons are recommended against these highly maneuverable foes.
