Solar Panels

Solar Panels collect energy from certain types of nearby suns, charging the energy bank of a ship or base. You may equip many solar panels of various types at the same time up to the total limit on a ship or base of Size/10 panels. For instance, a Zebucart is 33 size, and therefore can equip 3 solar panels.
- Elec is the base amount of energy generated every second. The actual amount of energy generated varies with the distance to the sun and the type of sun.
- Elec/Size is the energy produced per unit of space used (useful for maximizing the elec regen for a given amount of hull space remaining on your ship).
- Elec/Wgt is the energy produced per unit of weight (useful for maximizing the elec regen while keeping your ship as maneuverable as possible).
