You bring technology and know-how into battle.
Engineer's utilize drones to support a squad either through drone's that heal, provide passive bonus's, or supplement the overall damage output of the squad by also utilizing drone's that attack target's. Most builds you will have too choose between healing and doing damage, though duel builds are possible. Tractoring is critical to engineer, as with most drones being stationary, enemies must be brought to you. Engineer is considered a mandatory class to bring on squad based content as their ability to heal multiple squadmate's at the same time is necessary to keep a squad alive on a run.
