The Mzungu Acolyte is a rare, low-tech Mzungu vessel. Extracted from certain ruins, it is a powerful ship for its level. Although these ships are said to be some of the best combat slaves for their attributes, it must be said that the Space Blue Alpha Scout has similar stats, and is available for a largely reduced price. Nevertheless, the acolyte remains as a popular spacecraft for those who can afford it.
Originally a Mzungu Shuttle, the Acolyte has gone far to assist its brothers in the Great War. When the UrQa attacked in the first series of battles, the Mzungu scrambled every ship they could in the defense of the Empire. Acolytes were available in large numbers and were pressed into service as interceptors. Retrofitted and armored for war, the little Assistant helped the Mzungu win many a battle.
But the small shuttle had a problem. It lacked endurance of any kind and therefore was restricted to being launched from the bays of the Frigates or from launch tubes found aboard stations.
