Missile bays are items in your ship that allow you to launch missiles out of your ship. These missiles come in many shapes and sizes, but all act as little aggressive bombs with a set time limit. They return to your ship once they meet their time limit, or their target is destroyed. There are blueprints for more advanced versions of the missile bays that allow you to launch the missiles at a faster rate. These blueprints require launching tubes to complete. Such blueprints are available in certain galaxies like Hyperion.
