The first Battle Sphere was built by the game dev Jey. A rumour spread about this, saying that he had exploited to gain his Battle Sphere, of course, it is just a rumour, Jey and his team EF are a bunch of elite players that are able to do several Emp runs by-lock, them getting a commod was inevitable, in fact, Eminence Front as of this date has three Battle Spheres, currently, the only other person to have a Battle Sphere is Trevor50 on Strawberry Pancakes, another much more pro team that just sucks luck-wise when it comes to getting Battle Sphere commods.
