The Empyreal Apex is the shield-oriented upgrade for the Empyreal Ascension. Favoured by Shield Monkeys for its innate shield recovery and critical hit chance stats, which enable sustain and stealing-style setups alike.
The Combat Doctrine is a self-affecting aura generator with rotating effects. It alternates between three evenly spaced phases of increased healing power, increased shield-stealing power, and a stifling period of increased electric tempering. Disciplined Shield Monkeys that can adjust their healing and stealing to the aura can end up redistributing shields and much more drastic rates.
The Nanotech Enhancing Beam is a shield recovery/DPS-tweak applying beam. It fires out a long-range transference beam that boosts its target's shield recovery & damage, and reduces electric tempering. This can allow a DPS-dealing ally to squeeze out a little more damage or fire for a little longer, but this superitem costs quite a significant amount of energy to charge.
