The First ever Pax Levitas was built on April 7, 2011, by Tech9 while a member of team Eminence Front. His first recorded words after this were, "Oh my God, so shiny..."
The Pax Levitas is built from an extremely rare blueprint which has a 1/1000 drop-rate from any of the Olympus ubers, the same as the + version Olympus ship upgrade blueprints. It is a T21 combat-minded freighter with 3 augmenter slots. It also boasts some decent ship bonuses aimed at making it more effective for drone deployment. Regardless of these bonuses it still remains that the Pax Levitas is undeniably inferior to the less expensive Hephaestus Machine, making it little more than a trophy ship for collectors, but a powerful ship nonetheless.
Initially, the first three blueprints to be obtained were ones that Jeff_L offered to convince people into testing Olympus before its release. One blueprint was blatantly offered to each squad that managed to get the first kill of one of the Olympus ubers.
Only 3 blueprints were claimed from the contest:
- Ares - v56
- Poseidon - Thermal (Original CSE)
- Zeus - Roffles
No squad was able to kill Hephaestus during the contest, which incidentally led to him being nerfed prior to his release.
Termite 007 also received a Pax Levitas BP. His forum avatar was the basis for the design on the ship itself and was rewarded for it.
