Aggro, short for 'Aggressive' or 'Aggression', is used for AI which are hostile against players. Also known as hostility. In addition, player bases and combat slaves may be aggressive to a player that the owner is enemies with or if the players are on opposing sides in a war.

Most AI are hostile against players of certain levels. For example, if someone is around level 70-80, Ragnarock ships may become hostile toward him or her. This usually lasts until the player climbs out of the level range.

Certain AI are hostile to players of all levels, be it direct or otherwise. Termites are a good example of this.

Shield bank is the major determining factor in AI hostility.

If you want to break free of the Earth Force Aggro, die without a escape pod equipped. This trick does work on other AI base (and probably AI teams that don't auto aggro to you), for example the Underlords AI base.
