Noob Mistakes
After making a fool of myself and accidently shooting a Pax Astra in Paxius, and blurting it out into all chat, I decided to make this page of 'Noob Mistakes' to help you noobs avoid stupid things that may make you that little bit upset.
A few things,
1. Don't take your safety off is always a good one, espically in protected galaxies,
2. Dont leave the game lgged in undock, if an AI team is aggro on you a member may fly past and kill you, not very nice if you dont have any GG,
3. I'm not stupid enough to do this so i asked, saying your password doesn't get blocked, so dont say it lol,
4. Always keep your wits when doing a trade you never know who might be planning to scam you,
5. Don't shoot your own base if it doesn't have a shield, it will die, consequently, if its out of rations/has no energy/no shield equipped, if you attack an AI most likely chances is it will kill it,
6. You need the SM (station management) AND the equipment lvl to use a repiar kit, (6=ares, 9=adonis, 12=agronaut, 14=Ambrosia, 16=Andaman, 18=Achillies,20=Annihilator)
7. Don't see if safety lock stops you from shooting in an AI, in an AI owned galaxy it doesn't happen
Some Nooby Questions,
1. Where do i get _______ skill up to lvl ___?
Answer: Check the wiki, you're on the website right now,
2. Whats the wiki?
Answer: If you dont know that and your on this website, your an idiot and should switch to a different game,
3. What is an AI?
Answer: Artificial intelligence, a computer player so dont try talking to them,
4. Help! Im lost!
Answer: Use you brain (if you have one) press Ctrl to cycle though object types, q to cycle though objects of the same type, Tab to cycle though everything, and z to cycle though ships in that galaxy,
5. Help! (in help chat or all chat)
Answer: Saying this is cmpletely useless because you haven't told us what you need to be helped with,
6. Why has everyone in help chat stopped talking?
Answer: Help chat has a lvl cap on it, once you get to lvl 15, 20 or 21 ( i dont know which they are just guess) you cant use it,
7. Why cant i lvl up anymore?
Answer: There is a lvl 20 F2P (free to play) limit, to lvl past this you have to pay ($9.95 or about £5)
8. How do i buy a new ship without having to sell all my stuff?
Answer: Buy the new ship FIRST then right click on your stuff in your CURRENT ship, click on transfer to then click on your NEW ship, then goto the ships base tab, and sell the OLD one. (P.S. you cant un-equip augmenters so also be carefull on which ones you choose)
9. How do i equip stuff?
Answer: double click on it/right click and click on equip
Well, thats all i can about think of right about now, but when i think of more/get told more ill add em,
(P.S. im also a typo guy so there maybe some typos and miss-spells but i can't help that)
