Some ships can only be obtained via capture using a Prismatic Conversion and the Remote Control skill.

These ships could previously be captured, but are currently unobtainable via capture.
- Target Dummy (Tech 0) - Uncapturable.
- Copperling - Radex only.
- Giant Volcom (Tech 3) - Radex only.
- Maggot Master (Tech 3) - Radex only.
- Flylet Master (Tech 4) - Radex only.
- Absolution (Tech 9) - Obtained through blueprint.
- Beta Monster (Tech 10) - Uncapturable.
- Giant Goblin (Tech 10) - Radex only.
- Seraph (Tech 13) - Radex only.
Most of the above ships could only be captured if they had a capacity augmenter of the highest tech available for the ship, or in the case of the Beta Monster, two. This requirement ensured their rarity, as the AI had to be camped multiple times (sometimes for weeks) before the luck of the random augmenter selection allowed them to be captured. Copperlings were a special case, and only entered the game via a bugged AI station.
