The Empyreal Aphelion is the stealth-oriented upgrade for the Empyreal Equinox. However, both the Empyreal Aphelion and Empyreal Perihelion are quite compelling for both Seers and Speed Demons alike.
The Overwhelming Darkness is an AoE tweak generator. It increases beam resistance and greatly reduces visibility for the user and its allies within a short radius, while applying the inverse to enemies of the user in the same radius, reducing their beam resists and turning for the same period of time as the allies' buffs. This superitem can be used to create an escape into stealth, or to allow the user & allies to coordinate a higher damage attack on a target with increased beam weapon damage.
The Rift Opener is a Warp Device and Graviton Disruption. It disables the use of tractor beams by & around the user for a short period, and with a brief delay, teleports the user behind its target, resetting the user to 0 speed upon teleporting. This superitem can be used to evade capture via tractor beams, close the gap onto an escaping opponent, or to throw off opponents chasing down the user's last known position.
