Freighter

Freighter is a class of ship. Certain Hull Expanders are limited to this class of ship, and skills such as Merchant and Berserker effect different classes of ships in different ways. Freighter Class ships are most commonly used for transporting large items such as base gear, and drones for lower level players. They range in hull from 550 to 5000 hull space and have a wide range of techs and specialties. The Pax Astronomica is also a freighter, however it is commonly used as a fighting class ship due to its heavy resists and it's number of weapon slots. There are also two freighters that have the unique characteristic of not having an engine slot, meaning they must be towed in order to move.
