Capital Engine

The Capital Engine comes with all Earth Force Capital Ships. It cannot be unequipped. Though it is Tech 20, it does not require Engine 20.

Historically, the Capital Engine was Tech 10 and required Engine 10 to use. With the release of Star Sonata 2, this has been changed and now the new setup is used instead. At one point, due to a glitch, the engine could be unequipped from the Earthforce Frigate. This caused that ship to be removed from the game for some time, but since then it has been re-added.
