The below table shows mineable commodities and where to mine them.

Mining is done by using Mining type damage weapons on Asteroids.

Some asteroids (e.g. Arctia/Subspace Galaxies) might require Heat Damage.

Some might require surgical (Temporal Interstice for Salvaged Equipment).

Beware, Asteroids may spawn aggressive mobs.
