I am Badunka/Yuugh/Oddity ingame. Just 'yuugh' on discord. I performed the individual shipbox3 migration and value updates (with lot's of help and feedbackk from Claire, Mono, Lemon, and the lyceum channel folk). I am also updating some pages here and there (recently, red rogue AI item drops). If there's any problem you notice please contact me on discord.

-- temporary wildspace page testing grounds, WORK IN PROGRESS --

Wild Space is one of several Layers found ingame. It is a large and procedurally generated layer that takes on the form of an image once fully revealed. Warp Navigation 2 and 3 is needed to fully explore the layer, and 4 is needed to take advantage of the various Juxtaposition and Concourse shortcuts within. The layer is Semi-Premium, F2P players have restrictions placed upon them, they can enter the zone but are limited to exploring and Prospecting. Bots will not follow, asteroids will be un-minable, and drones and stations cannot be placed. All weapons will also not fire weapon and push/pull tractors will not function. The entrance to this layer is connected to Earthforce Layer and Perilous Layer via four outposts Earthforce Sanctuary Alpha Earthforce Sanctuary Bravo Earthforce Sanctuary Charlie Earthforce Sanctuary Delta that are spread randomly. At the start of the universe all galaxies besides the sanctuaries and AI empires are unowned. The unrevealed galaxies will have protowarps instead of warp gates that will be revealed/unlocked at a later date. If you are logged into the server at the time of the reveal you will get the reveals automatically. It hosts a swath of galaxies that are initially unowned of varying rarities that players/teams can race to explore and claim with Command & Control Station kits. Players can places base kits to to ultimately profit from either IC trade, Colonies, or production, if done properly however. Be warned, un-claimed or claims in progress galaxies are open PvP zones, and any tradebots that leave the safety of owned space are not guaranteed to return. Termites are also an ever present threat to any owned galaxy, and failure to prepare adequately can lead to disaster.

Advantages over EarthForce space

Although players can build stations in both these layers, building in Wild Space can be lucrative due to these core benefits: - Advertising team presence/activity to other players. A team that has basing presence in Wild Space will receive advertisement of activity, and an increase to team score.

- Galaxy rarities common/uncommon/rare/exotic that offer players higher rewards and higher risks.

- Overall richer resources such as T0 commodities, e.g. metals, nuclear waste, silicon, space oats, and baobobs.

- Higher tiered resources are available on planets/moons such as T1-T3 commodities, e.g. Jelly Beans, Diamonds, Fermium/Promethium, Enriched Nuclear Material.

- More station slots on planets and moons for either extraction, ruin exploration or colonies.

- Ownership of galaxies into team space via the CnC system. By building a Command & Control Station and properly feeding it 14,400 Fusion Cells a day to continue ownership and maintain exclusive rights to lay base kits.

- A larger amount of galaxies available, with additional galaxy reveals sprinkled in throughout the universe.

- Ability to construct blueprints that are higher than tech 20. -

Disadvantages over EarthForce space

- Race to claim the better galaxies with higher rarities, or optimal distances from the Earthforce Outposts.

- CnC kits require a constant supply of Fusion Cells or else the galaxy can be lost.

- Termites are an ever present threat such that once a termite mound has formed, constant probing scout attacks are made with a finale of a sieges that puts the galaxies assets under attack.

- PvP and BvB is possible during initial claiming process, and

OLD WILDSPACE PAGE BELOW -----

Wild Space is one of several Layers found ingame, and is almost entirely dedicated to station building. There is PvP in Wild Space while galaxies are unowned. Once a galaxy is owned, using a Command & Control Station, PvP is disabled.

Wild Space is a semi-premium area, meaning that non-premium players can access it, but their bots cannot follow them, they can't fire weapons, deploy drones, or use anything considered a weapon, including tractors (however, they can still use prospecting tractors). Station building is also only for premium players here.

Information

Ownership

As the name implies, Wild Space isn't owned by any faction, instead it's a huge layer made just for players to deploy stations and exploit planets for resources.

Station Building

You can build in every star system with the exception of the north, south, east and west entrances, which are protected by Earthforce.

Points of Interest

  • XYZ - The X and Y AI Station give you hints as to the whereabouts of the hidden Z AI station, in addition to this there is a nearby sun that generates Cloud Mercury asteroids.
