A block is an administrative way to prevent someone from editing. Blocks are not a punishment, they are to protect LyceumArchives. If you find yourself blocked, you have done one of the following:

  1. Vandalism
  2. Abuse directed at other users
  3. Uploading large amount of inappropriate material (copyrighted, pornography, etc)
  4. Acting in a disruptive manner (edit-warring, etc)
  5. Spamming external links

The length of a block can be anywhere from 2 hours to a few months. In some rare cases someone might be blocked indefinitely.

The block-log can be found here.
