You'll need to scan planets until you find one with space oats, metals, silicon, baobabs, and nuclear waste.

Then buy extractors from the Academy Store to extract these commodities. You will need Harvesters, MRE factories, Metal 
Drills, Silicon Extractors, Tree Cutters, and Nuclear Waste Collectors.

When you find an appropriate planet, lay down a base kit from the Academy Store. While you are at the store, pick up an 
Academy Freighter Module Blueprint to equip to your base. You will need to equip more station extensions, which you can 
make or buy at the Academy Store. 

Make sure you have enough workers and equip your MRE factories so your workers have food!

Don't leave anything you want to keep on the base if you leave the Academy - once you leave the Academy your base will 
expire in minutes."
