Big greens are the staple AI of warp-3. These fearsome ships boast titan gear and are weak to radiation. The level 700 version roams in DF 180 and above, while the Sniper and Multifiring versions are generally found in DGs. Big Greens can rarely drop titan gear which sells for around 100 million credits to AI bases.
The Big Greens are a mutated remnant of the Mzungu race. When the Mzungu transcended to another plane of existence, a small portion of the Mzungu chose to reject high technology and stay behind. They mutated over the years and use a mixture of degraded Mzungu ships and whatever they can find in old abandoned secret Mzungu bases.
With the Class Skills buff, Big Greens have received Fleet Commander and Gunner skills, making these dangerous enemies now even more lethal to the prospective pilot who dares attack these beasts in the hopes that they will receive an XP reward to reimburse them for their bravery.
