A bit about me

Some say I am stupid, some say I am lazy, a few say I am awesome. I say I am all of these, mainly because I am. I spend very little time in-game and if I am in-game, like hell I am actually doing anything. I hang around a lot on IRC. My main is Gunner and I love Gunner, cause it's win. Currently residing in an Earthforce Dreadnought waiting for the ability to obtain a Red Photon Warship, and chewing over various ideas for Heavy Fighter setups. I also make GUI's, one for each holiday event and any I feel are a good idea. If you're lucky, I may take a request on one but it'll cost. I have great knowledge over the game, it's mechanics and some of it's lore, despite only starting playing at the back end of 2008. I have been on various teams over my time, SoftShock, Red Faction, Psionic Corps, Quantum Reach, JAWSS and The Forgotten Colonies.

Graphical User Interfaces

All of my GUI's are in .zip format (compressed), all need to be extracted, and their contents pasted into the .\img directory of your Star Sonata installation, with the exception of the Normal GUI

There is a change to the .exe file, which just moves the buttons at the top over to the left a bit to make it look nicer.

Old Client 1 style GUI

One I plan to do after yugi and Simon supplied me with some nice source files.

Challenge: 5 minute GUI

A nice challenge I was set by Masterful, when I get round to doing it.

Random trivia

  • I, with Kangaroo_blob, suggested the Trolls for Halloween 2010 event.
  • I spend more time on IRC and webchat than anyone should.
  • I won the Christmas 2010 "What do you want from Astro-Santa" competition with my song.
  • Suggested the idea of Lapland and saving Elves, lack of time didn't help in creation.
  • I have over 4000 posts on the forums, probably too many.
  • I pushed for an Easter Holiday event, which ended up in me doing the content myself. It was meant to go in on the patch on Sunday the 17th April. But delays and problems has held it back a few days. Testing was rushed, and there were quite a few issues! But non-the less, it was fun. And I think (hope) players kinda enjoyed it.
