One of the most powerful AI teams, Dark Commerce consists of Dark Guard and Dark Transport ships. It is one of the hardest AI teams to combat, due to their large numbers and powerful weaponry. Dark Commerce, or D.C., has ships that wander throughout the entire universe, making it difficult for the opposition to hide.
Dark Transports have a Restraining Order, a type of push tractor beam, that will shove you or your base deep into space. Dark Guards are armed with mass drivers and powerful lasers to take down enemies.
It is essential to note that most player teams will boot members who attack any AI ship on Dark Commerce, as they are a serious threat.
Dark Commerce units fly together in "fleets" of ships as to attack with greater strength and to protect themselves better as they trade with AI stations. These fleets can grow to vast sizes and are usually have 1 Dark Transport per 9 Dark Guards. The largest DC fleet ever seen contained 8 Dark Transports with 72 Dark guards!
