F2P stands for Free to Play. It is the commonly used term to describe a player who does not pay for their gameplay.

Restrictions

Free to Play players are limited to Level 20, a total of 100 Skill Points to 'try out' Star Sonata, before deciding on a purchase, which allows access to unlimited leveling. Despite this restriction, F2P players are not limited from most skills, aside from the Focus Skills. These skills were originally available from the galaxy Lyceum for F2P players.

Alts and 'Uber Noobs'

Some Free to Play players are not new to Star Sonata. Some are either experienced P2P players who have made a F2P alt for the purpose of killing low-leveled players, or a long time F2P Player known as an Uber Noob. Uber Noobs are disliked by many P2P players, due to the fact they do not contribute monetarily to the development of Star Sonata. Uber Noobs have the side effect of giving all F2P players a bad reputation. Despite this Uber Noobs are commonly the player that help out most newbies and this makes them the "heroes" of many non uber f2p.
