The United Trade Federation (UTF) was lead by player It2, and was quite powerful (as a mainly f2p team) at its time. At its height, it maintained control of a few galaxies, before suffering a radical disaster, starting with the destruction of the base on lavanite which caused a leadership change. After that, the UTF slowly died.
