The lumbering Green Battleships are the capital ships of the Green Armada that can only be encountered in the furthest reaches of the universe (danger factor 300+). These juggernauts are the one of the toughest opponents that the outer space can throw at you; they are slow, heavy and hit like a ton of bricks, inflicting horrific damage with their multifired Ethereal Laser U's and Capital Armageddon Lasers. Because Green Battleships share some traits with the earthforce capital ships, they have substantially higher range, larger shield banks and increased resistance to critical hits. Their arsenal is completed with a powerful Big Green Beam that cuts the target's speed and range in half and negates the effect of afterburners, and no Green Battleship would ever leave home without a squadron of Agamemnon Fighters always prepared to nibble you to bits.
Most captains choose to leave these behemoths alone and whisk past them avoiding their dreaded lasers as much as possible. Nonetheless, those capable of tackling a Green Battleship would find it quite profitable, as they might find Capital Laser Cores, Laser Core Research blueprints, or even a Gargantuan Goblets, used to train Remote Control 17 in Beta Antares. They have also been known to be captureable by Radiation Experts.
