Prologue
As hordes of energy bullets screamed by his cockpit, Maz took immediate action. He looked behind his ship, confirming that there were pesky Volcom pirates firing from a distance behind him. Take some of this, you losers!! Maz thought, as he turned his ship around and fired unfathomable amounts of Mass Driver bullets at the Volcom. Maz watched the remaining "heartless", "cunning", and "fearless" pirates ran before him after watching one of their own explode into pieces.
He turned his ship around and continued his journey.
Chapter 1
Maz entered his newly built base. It felt "homey" for him, as there were many hidden features. There was Galactic Cable, droids which tidied up the place for him, and a cozy bed, made of dreamily soft Zinzziton fibers.
Today was the day that his friend would be coming over to check on his success.
Maz lay on his bed, watching some talk shows with Hopra Infrey, a psychologist, who was a fusion between the old Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Phil. He flipped between channels ranging from alien cooking to strange movies.
Suddenly a loud bang sounded from behind his door. It seemed that Oliver was here.
Maz looked through the porthole, confirming that it was really Oliver who was here. It really was Oliver, as Maz opened the door and they did their secret handshake.
"Hey man, how's the stuff going? Anything new happen this week?" Oliver asked him.
"Well, I got ambushed by a few damn Volcom... I took care of them though," Maz smiled.
"So what should I call you now? After killing Pirate Maboule a month ago, and now this, should I call you Massif Destruction? It seems fitting," Oliver joked.
"What!? Of course not! Just call me Maz," he said.
"So... What do you want to do now? Kill some Flyswatters? Hunt for Bionic Rats? Go through the UZ again? I heard that since the Zaphragi are such a large community, they appoint new leaders and their ships every day or two!" Oliver explained.
"Maybe, but I think that the best thing for me to do now, besides killing pirates for profit, is to have an actual job to kill them. I would probably get a 10 million credit paycheck every day," Maz wondered.
"Dream on, loser!" Oliver patted him on the back. "Maybe we can just go beg for money from people, like I usually do!" Oliver said.
"No, I want hard-earned money, not some begging for charity sort of thing..." I said.
"Anyways, why don't we duke it out in the Colosseum? I want to see who's better!" Oliver asked.
Maz was about to say no, when suddenly, Oliver used a technology to mind-control him into actually going into his ship. Moments later, after warping through some wormholes, Maz found himself in the fun heat of battle known as The Colosseum.
Suddenly, Cook came out of nowhere, using his Panther cloak, and started rapid-firing Venusian MagCannons out of his special ship. Maz took evasive action, together with Oliver, and started to fire Venusian Rays at him. Reinforcing the back of the line, was Ghet, dropping down massive amounts of Armada Inferno Drones.
Maz didn't see the drones in time, and got his shields cut down to half, as the drones blasted his shield with Lion Incinerators.
"Hahaha take that! And then some!" Ghet shouted through the Colosseum radio.
"At least I can still defeat your drones!" Maz snickered.
Maz ran over to the dark sun arena, where Cook couldn't see him. He sneaked over to the portal nearest to him, and warped. Cook saw him warp, and tried following him, as Oliver came out with a Gremcannon and made Cook dizzy for a few seconds. This gave Maz some time to relocate, as he got his best weapon (so far) out; his Emperor Ray.
It turned out that a pirate had stole the precious cargo, and Maz was the hired pilot to go kill that specific pirate and recover the Emperor Ray. At this moment in time, Maz had Cook in range, charged, and fired. The intense radiation blast took Cook's shields down, as Maz closed in and used his Panther Fang against him. Cook shot out in his escape pod, as Maz cheered in victory over Cook's ship in stasis.
Chapter 2
Maz finished the battle soon after, and warped over to an important meeting that was happening on Earth.
Maz landed his ship over next to where the meeting was to take place, which was next to the landmass they called America, and walked over.
Looking very professional and proper, Maz sat down in his designated seat. Then the meeting began.
The director was noting very critical points of pirate activity, including the Space Blue Reformation, the Goldenboy Retaliation and the Pirate Maboule assault, which just happened years ago. The director listed some potential bounty hunters, which included Ghet, Sicuro, KC, and Maz. He mentioned a large paycheck which would be delivered monthly, depending on how many pirates a person killed.
Heh, I would be perfect for this job! I own pirates every day! Maz thought.
Lastly, the director handed out application forms and ended the meeting. Humans poured out of the door in groups, some getting in cars, and some getting in space ships, to go home to their space stations. Maz got into his ship, which was a Death Striker, bought from Fishymand, and used his Speed Demon skill to blast off into space.
Maz parked his Death Striker into his base and got onto his desk, filling out the mound of application forms.
After a few hours, he finally filled the whole stack of papers next to his desk. He sighed and went back outside. He had forgotten that he had an appointment with a friend about his new ship that was building.
Maz ran to his Death Striker and blazed over to Cook's base.
"So...How's my Rotting Izer coming along?" Maz asked.
"It's good, it still needs about six days of fermenting, and the workers I hired are finishing up the last weapon slots and the piloting cockpit," Cook said.
"Excellent...And how will I be paying?"
"Regular credits...Universal Credits, whatever you want to call them...And you'll have to give me about...let's see...oh yes...about 15 billion. I can wait for about a week until you give them to me, but otherwise you'll be paying," he said.
"Oh, all right sure."
