Cadet Academy is a star system in The Nexus; the Earthforce bastion in this area and the training grounds for all prospective recruits. With two stations--the actual academy, and a local gin joint for the off-duty hours (and for some reason the bar always seems to be the target of pirate attacks)--this star system has quite a bit to offer. Many good pilots make it here from Preload and wash out, hopefully before the very dangerous combat training, in which a pilot can easily auger in. This training can and has taken the lives of many Earthforce prospects! If a pilot can make it though and graduates from the Academy, they can expect to be put on patrol right away. It is up to these Cadets to defend freedom and justice throughout The Nexus from the pirate scum of the universe!
