The MagCannon is a unique Weapon which boasts extreme range. Players should not be fooled by the low attack power, for the projectiles can home in on their target, landing most blows accurately. It is a very popular weapon for most low-leveled players and above, and stronger variations are usually used in base defense systems, with a blueprint and materials usually required.
There are several Missions which present MagCannon weaponry as a reward; Gary Oilheart, for example, will give you a Ganglinite MagCannon.
The MagCannon is affectionately known as the 'Mag', and is available at most AI stations for a price.
