Transaction of Commodity Blocked by Price Police
The Price Police were implemented to keep players from extracting ruin commodities from colonies for less than the AI Station buy price.
The admin HAL offers the following example:
Q: so... if colony price is 15... and I want to sell to colony for 1 credit and let the base buy from slaves for 5 credit... then what?
A: It shouldn't matter, because if you are buying for 5 credits the colony won't even want to sell to you. If you were buying for 16 credits though you might get the message, but the base will only buy stuff from a colony if it isn't selling anyways so the only time you would get the message is if your base didn't have any rations to sell to the colony.
Anyways, we should probably take the price police out now, it was only put in to prevent buying of ruin commodities such as Mzungu Green Orb for less than what you could sell them at an AI base for - but you can't sell them at an AI base any more so it doesn't matter.
