AI, short for Artificial Intelligence, refers to any computer controlled entities including ships, Bases, Slaves, Drones, Fighters, and Teams, whether they are truly intelligent or not. Some are also aggressive to players or other AI. Some AI ships have an inbuilt energy bank and energy regeneration bonus (occasionally shields, too) that disappear when they become irradiated (killed with radiation). See Also: AI Ships
