ME BEING MOODY

Welcome to Star Sonata. Now that that's over. see LOL to know about me. I leave the editing to the people who want to. Try to delete the randomness. Please.

Most of this is confusing and hard to understand, but once you get past the... ridiculousness it really gives good information. The reason why im not telling you what to do is because if you're smart and you actually listen to it, the tutorial gives better information then some random wiki article. I dont tell you what to do because its your choice. go about star sonata as you please. Make mistakes and learn from them. Most of all, have fun.

You find yourself in space, surrounded by some things. Don't touch. See that little thing in the corner that looks like a blatant copyright violation of the Windows OfficeHelper? Listen to it. FEEL FOR IT. No, seriously though, it gives you basic helpful information.

CONTROLS

By now, you should know how to move.

W- accelerate (relative to the direction you're facing)

A- turn right

S- stop

D- turn left

R- dock

Spacebar- shoot whatever is equipped at the moment

Tab- cycle through objects in the system using your radar

Z- cycle through ships in the system

Q- cycle through that type of object (ships, planets, stations, etc...)

V- autopilot to the selected object

G- use tractor beam

X- object options

F- jump through wormhole

U- die (it gives a warning prompt. Its really hard to mistype this, so dont be begging the mods after you blow up your ship and say it was an accident)

Know this layout. Seriously.

So. See the station that's about at your top right corner, if you haven't moved yet? Fly over there and dock at it. How do i do this?

1.) point towards it

2.) accelerate towards it

3.) stop on it

4.) press R

If you didnt dissapear into the station and nothing popped up, you were going too fast. For now, your maximum docking speed is 10.

How do i know my speed? guess. No, im kidding.

LAYOUT From the bottom left to about 2/3 of the way up is your inventory and selected object display. Object: The bottom part tells you about the target, such as if its person or computer controlled, what type of ship it is, what level it is, and what team it is on. Map: a map of the galaxy, as you have explored it Inventory: what is in your ship, and equipped items have a filled in blue dot next to them. at the top left is your Sheilds, Energy, Visibility, hull space, and speed. These are important. Read them.

So, now that you're docked and safe from those little thingys outside that pose no threat whatsoever, you probably should know about ships. You are in a Zebucart

NOW AIN'T THAT FUNNEH?

No seriously, its a bad ship and you should consider getting rid of it soon and buying something else. Now, do the missions in that base you're at. It tells you alot.

Now, eventually, you'll be done with the missions in the EarthForce Outpost. So then it's time to go the the EarthForce Trading Outpost! YOU GET ONE ZEBUCART POINT! Zebucart.png OKAY.

Do the missions here. See those sign things? Read them. Trade ALOT. get around 500k or so and by now you should be leveled enough to leave that stupid preload.

Go forth into the Nexus, and find your way! Have fun in this special universe, and eventually find Sol. From there, you will venture off and make your own niche of Star Sonata with bases and specialize in the Lyceum missions.

Here's a free zebucart for completing the journey. Zebucart.pngHello World II: Now what?
