"What? Emperor no more? Blasphemy!"
King Midas is rumoured to be a former emperor seeking past glory as he roams through warp-3 in his Golden Midas ship. His ship is extraordinarily well protected, with high resists to almost everything and very high shield regeneration. Offensively, he is quite weak, unless you stand still long enough to get hit with his five multi-fired Golden Thorax+ bullets.
He is primarily killed for the very remote chance that he might drop an imperial seal, but hunters are usually rewarded with a Golden Thorax+ and a few of his world-famous space oats.
