It mean Earthforce is gonna 'ave an escort on our freighters. We need to get rid of dem when dey come in 'ere so dey don't know what our ships be carryin'! Go 'ide near da dark sun in 'ere, when da convoy arrives, ambush da Earthforce Escort an' show dem we not gonna 'ave anyone searchin' our crates. Good luck to ya mon."

"Good, good! Wit dat escort gone, we can be offloadin' da goods. What was in dose crates you ask? Ganja mon!" Blue Pirate Marques laughs. "If only. Dose crates be 'avin' some mighta powaful weapons components. Very illegal stuffs, and wit Earthforce pryin' eyes gone... dey won't know what hit 'em!"

"Good ta see ya again mon," says Blue Pirate Marques. "Now dat we got Earthforce off our backs 'ere in Brigand's Stronghold we can fry some bigga fish! Sound good mon?" "I got word dat Earthforce, dey be transportin' precious goods in freighters dat be barely guarded! Even betta dey plannin' dere route right through 'ere! 'Ow lucky is dat mon!?" says Blue Pirate Marques excitedly. "All we gotta do is wait, ambush and let da goods fall right inta our hands. 'Ow dat sound mon?"

"Ah ha ha!" laughs Blue Pirate Marques. "Dis be a good 'aul for da Blue! Barbe be mighty pleased when 'e find out what we did 'ere! Ya, dis be real good mojo!"

"Ah, 'lo mon! Dings be goin' good now, Earthforce even 'as raised da threat level! Dey gettin' scared, and now dey gettin' careless too mon." Blue Pirate Marques shows you a universe map. "Blue Outpost is where our 'eadquarters be mon, and Earthforce forgettin' dat fact. Instead dey be sending patrols out in greater numbers to keep dem safe, and not watchin' what we be smugglin' dere." Blue Pirate Marques laughs. "Dis be a big bad mistake! We should be seizing dis oppertunity. It's time we be shippin' dees weapons parts to Blue Outpost, and since you need to meet Barbe Bleu, dis be your job mon. I'll 'ave dem crates loaded into your ship, and den you can be off. Good Luck mon."

"Good! These weapons components have finally arrived, you have no idea how long we have been waiting to get our hands on them. Didn't look like you would make it in here either, damned Earthforce! Regardless, Barbe Bleu will be most pleased, what he has planned for these materials will knock the socks right off those self proclaimed 'protecters of the universe', and finally give us free reign of the inner galaxies!" Since it would seem you are continuing the pirate's life with our band of brigands, I have a task for you." Blue Pirate Alec displays a galactic map. "As you can see, Sol is more of less the centre of our universe. Not only that, it is the centre of all Earthforce operations, and they have recentally started a rather annoying one. Earthforce is now sending out patrols from Sol to 'police' the tradelanes and put a stop to our 'petty' pirating. They've even sent patrols here, in Blue Oupost, the audacity! Well, I'd like you to put a stop to their 'petty' policing."

"Excellent form! I'm sure they will think twice before calling our actions petty. We need to let Earthforce know that we cannot be stopped quite so easily and we will not tolerate interference in our agenda. Plans must be kept on schedule. I may have task for you later on, but until then, cherrio."

"So simon, I know you took care of our patrol problem in Blue Outpost... but it occurs to me, we should not have had one if the first place. It seems someone... 'snitched'." "Unfortunately for that 'someone' Barbe Bleu has eyes and ears absolutely everywhere and their 'snitching' has not gone unnoticed. It would seem the responsible party was Blue Pirate Kenneth. Barbe is convinced he is an Earthforce Agent who has managed to infiltrate our operation and he demands that Blue Pirate Kenneth be dealt with. I think you know what that means, don't you Simon? "Most excellent indeed. Barbe Bleu will be very pleased to know the traitor has been dismissed."

"Barbe Bleu would like to see you, come this way." Blue Pirate Lieutenant Nelson escorts you to an office on the station. The door is guarded, but after a look from Blue Pirate Alec the guards part and you are walked into the office where a tall darked haired man sits in front of a large desk. It's Barbe Bleu. He turns and addresses Blue Pirate Lieutenant Nelson. "So this is the new recruit I 'ave been 'earing about, eh

"If Blue Pirate Lieutenant Nelson thinks you should see me, you must be good. And from what I 'ave seen, I think I'll agree. What you 'ave done to Earthforce... you might just be who I am looking for. When you get back to your ship, you'll find that I 'ave 'ad my crew put something on it. Wondering what it is, eh? Let's just say... you're one of us now. Come back again and I might 'ave more work for you."

"Mon, I got a message for ya!" says Blue Pirate Marques as you enter the station. "Barbe Bleu be sendin' for ya. 'E want ya to meet 'im in Blue Outpost as soon as you can!

"It is good to see you again Simon, it is not, eh?" asks Barbe Bleu. "I 'ave work for you if you want it."

"Earthforce 'as lost something in Wolf 359, Simon, something that I want." starts Barbe Bleu. "Unfortunately for me, they 'ave already sent out someone to look for and recover it. This can not 'appen! We must get to it first!" "This is why I 'ave called for you $playername." continues Barbe Bleu. "I need you to travel to Wolf 359 and dispose of this Cadet Crusher 'oo 'as been sent to salvage what I am after! Think you can do that, eh?"

"Excellent work Simon. Without that pesky Cadet running around... I think we 'ave the upper 'and."

""I 'ave located the goods I 'ave been searching for Simon," Barbe Bleu tells you. "There is a nebula in Wolf 359 and it is hiding the wrecks I need salvaged. What do you think, eh? Do you mind picking the bones of these destroyed ships?" "Good. Return to Wolf 359. Search the nebula and bring me back cargo from the wrecks. 'Opefully, one of them was carrying what I am after."

"Curses! You 'ave returned the cargo to me, but none of the crates contained a microwarp devi-" Barbe Bleu stops abruptly, aware he just revealed the cargo he was after to you. "I guess I trust you enough for you to know Simon. Earthforce has lost a prototype microwarp device! I 'ave to 'ave it!"

"In the time we wasted with salvaging the wrong wrecks, Earthforce has put together another salvage team of their own Simon." says Barbe Bleu. "We can not let them reclaim the microwarp device! It is too valuable and I 'ave to 'ave it!" "Simon, I 'ave need of you again. I need for you to go back to Wolf 359 and stop their new salvage team. This time they 'ave sent Enforcers... it will be 'arder to destroy them, but I know I can count on you."

"Very well done Simon. I trust it wasn't too 'ard to kill those Enforcers now was it, eh?"

"Normally I would not 'ave a job like this for you Simon." says Barbe Bleu. "Surveying is hardly pirate's work now is it, eh?" Barbe Bleu chuckles. "But, the coordinates I 'ave obtained for the wreck carrying the Prototype Microwarper are clearly wrong... and it is very important that I 'ave this device." "So I need you to verify the coordinates I 'ave. Find a planetscanner and return to Wolf 359. Scan both the sun and planet there and return to me. Then we can see why we 'aven't found this wreck yet."

"Ah-ha! Yes, it makes sense now Simon. My coordinates were inverted... the wreck does not lay in the nebula as I 'ave thought... it is northwest of the sun!"

"So I 'ave the proper coordinates to the wreck we need to salvage... unfortunately, it seems Earthforce 'as them now too! We need to 'urry if we are to secure the device before Earthforce does!" "Good to see you again Simon. I 'ave extremely big plans that'll make us both extremely rich. Sounds good, eh?"

Simon, I 'ave 'eard of an unusal solar system on the edge of protected space. It is said this system is filled to the brim with a very valuable resource... gold, Simon! More gold than I 'ave ever seen in one place before. I 'ave also 'eard this system isn't protected very well. I think you know what I 'ave in mind, eh?" "Simon, if you could explore this 'Auric Sector' and let me know just how much gold is really there... we could end up as very, very rich men."

"So, the rumors are true, eh?" says Barbe Bleu. "There seems to be a lot of gold there."

"Before we commit to a raid, we need to know just how pure the gold is..." muses Barbe Bleu. "The Auric Sector isn't very well defended... but it is still a risky endeavor and I do not want to waste my ships if the 'aul is not good enough. I am sure you understand, eh?" "Since you 'ave been there already, 'ow would you feel about going back? Can you obtain a sample of the gold found there for me?"

"Ahh, yes, this is very good gold... very exciting now is it not, eh?"

"I think your snooping around the Auric Sector 'as not gone unnoticed Simon," starts Barbe Bleu. "That or the Earthforce 'as finally come looking fo their microwarp device." He points at the station radar display which show multiple Enforcers in the vicinity. "In any case, with such big plans being formulated we can not tolerate any distractions. The Enforcers need to be destroyed. You think you can do this for me, eh?"

"Very good Simon! Very good! With the Enforcers gone, I think it is time we figure out 'ow to go about looting the Auric Sector. I am sure you agree?"

"I think your snooping around the Auric Sector 'as not gone unnoticed Simon," starts Barbe Bleu. "That or the Earthforce 'as finally come looking fo their microwarp device." "I 'ave been so stupid Simon!" laments Barbe Bleu. "It is so simple. We 'ave the stolen microwarp technology, why can we not use it to 'elp break into the Auric Sector? It makes so much sense, eh?" "I 'ave been speaking with a man named Jorgan Friedman from Blue Photon. 'E 'as assured me blueprints for a new device based on the micrwarp we recovered. With this device, raiding the Auric Sector would be much less risky. Simon, I need you to go meet with 'im. Also, I will need the materials to finish the device. Do you think you can get everything for me?"

Barbe Bleu is tinkering with the microwarp prototype when you walk in. He seems pleased when he looks up and sees you. "So, 'ow did everything go, eh? Well I 'ope. Good. It is nearly time to make more money than either of us dreamed possible."

"Barbe Bleu sent you? To pick up the Microwarp Schematic? Ok. Just as long as you don't let anyone know about this..."

"Here you go... and don't forget. This. never. happened."

"The microwarp is finished $playername... and that means it is time to raid the Auric Sector! 'Ere is the plan. Most of the gold is locked away on the planets, or in the space base. But, the merchant ships there; the 'ave crates of gold onboard, ready for transport. You will 'ave to go after these ship and salvage the gold from their wrecks!" Barbe Bleu flashes a sly smile. "They are mechants, it should be easy, eh? Especially since I am giving you a prototype of the microwarp device!"

Barbe Bleu is sorting through all the crates you returned. Each is packed with nuggets, bars and even golden dust. "Yes $playername, yes! This 'aul 'as paid for itself a million times over! I doubt we could make another 'it like this again there; but with this much gold, we will not 'ave too." Barbe Bleu tosses you a nugget. "Very good work Simon! I am pleased!"
