The Infernal Faction is a cult-like pirate organisation of the Outer Rim. Goblins, Infernos and Cleft Thorns are all believed to be members of the faction, sent out to raid and pillage, while the bulk of the faction is stationed in the Infernal Tempest. It has grown considerably in numbers and power lately, becoming a formidable threat to the Earthforce, and any sort of law enforcement in general. Unfortunately, Earthforce is currently too involved into battling the Blue Pirates to respond to this new menace.
Infernal Faction is led by Doktor Kobaldstein, a rather eccentric individual with a thick German accent and a knack for discovering new energy sources. It is rumoured, however, that Doktor Kobalstein is only a servant to someone (or something?) far more sinister, but such reports are yet to be verified.
