The Maggot is a miniature uber AI found in Fly Times, who pilots a Flyswatter Maggot. It is killed for a mission from the Janitor's Outpost in the Nexus, and re-spawns every 5 minutes next to the asteroid sun. It can also drop the rare and useful low-leveled The Maggot Augmenter.
Players who must kill this creature should use a reasonably fast ship, equipped with a MagCannon for ranging. Without good shielding, it can prove to be a severe nuisance.
Resists: 40% Heat/Mining Protection, 10% Vulnerability to Physical
