These special pieces of equipment can only be used on slave ships. They generate a stasis field around the slave when it dies, much like when a player ship dies. If a slave does not have a Stasis Generator it will explode instead of going into stasis. Stasis generators, or Stasis Gens as they are known, can be found in only certain galaxies. Copper contains generators of all tech levels. Liberty contains generators from tech 0 to 2.
All Stasis Generators take 1 hull space and require levels in Equipment. Each generator's price is the square of it's tech level multiplied by 1,000,000.
