The Monochromes are a fairly small faction, but a very curious one at that. Believing that the universe should exist only in black and white, they detest colors with a fierce abhorrence. Although they are not yet powerful enough to take over a galaxy, they nevertheless boast fearsome firepower, which they use readily against opponents.
Most choose to roam the universe as fairly peaceful traders, although some have been known to take on a pirating life.
They can be identified by their distinctive black and white ships.
