[[AI]] [[team]] consisting of low-leveled ships, including [[Zebucart]]s, [[Volcom]]s, [[Wingship]]s, [[Roswell]]s, [[Bulk Trader]]s and the signature [[Phunka.dll]] vehicles.

They sometimes travel in a convoy of five or six. Singular ships and large packs of ten or more can be found throughout the game as well. Star-Runner units are relatively weak; however, there is one [[Uber AI|uber AI ship]] on the team known as the [[S.R. Express 4493]].

[[AI]] on Star-Runners seem to have normal and "express" versions. These "express" versions seem to have minor augmenters equipped while the normal versions may not.

When attacked, the number of Star-Runner ships may swell to 20 or more, tearing through the would-be pirate's shields. However, most buccaneers can find isolated ships and quickly decimate them.

The Star-Runners are not confined to warp 0 and warp 1.  Large convoys can be seen in warp 2.  Even small trickles of Star-Runners can be found in warp 3.

This Universe, The Star-Runners seem to have moved their base of operations to the central EarthForce space area.

Star-Runners are only dangerous to slow low leveled players when in a convoy. Most often, a group of Zebucarts are seen with ion peashooters on the team.
