===Summary===
Ninth Sphere was a small team created in 2010 as a split from [http://wiki2.starsonata.com/index.php/Sheilds Sheilds]. The team was led by player your mother and i and quickly gained a reputation as a powerhouse of design despite their small size. Ninth sphere was made in a time of great stress throughout the universe. Death Mental held the reins but was contested by the second two largest teams Strawberry Pancakes and Eminence Front. Allied with Death Mental, Ninth Sphere basked in the shadow of a colossus which allowed them to flourish without fear of attack. 

===Formation===
Ninth Sphere was created when player Apper left the game causing Sheilds to (for the most part) dissolve. Left with the option of leaving their close friends of multiple years and starting a new team they chose the latter. Originally formation occurred within Sheilds team chat regarding power distribution and naming. Player Your mother and i was chosen democratically to be the new teams leader, with player Projectile as councillor, and the second councy spot being taken by another characters of YMAI's. The team additionally voted on a team name, eventually ending on Ninth Sphere (coined by Neba). Ninth Sphere referenced to the epic poem The Divine Comedy which follows Dante on a trip through the Nine Circles of Hell. What is generally missed is Dantes travels also brought him through purgatory and the Nine Spheres of Heaven. ===History===
After formation, with an irrefutably well organised player base, it quickly join in an alliance with The Forbidden Realm, TorchWood and Death Mental. TorchWood held a previous Sheilds member as a councillor. This is probably one of the few reasons Ninth Sphere is even worth mention. With ties to such powerful teams, it was caught on the winning side of one of the largest scaled universal wars the game had ever seen. Pitting the prior against the USA Alliance consisting of The Forgotten Colonies, Light Commerce, and Pantalones, Ninth Sphere was instrumental in victory due to their bordering with TFC's galaxies. With the backing of DM and TorchWood, Ninthsphere gave safe passage into the USA line to break through and tear down LC who had stood as an enemy of Ninth Sphere since it's days in Sheilds; and ripping through TFC and Pantalones afterwards.

With the USA threat avoided, Ninth Sphere held hostilities towards LC and TFC, actually bordering their galaxies in a seperate uni. The TorchWood/Death Mental alliance fell through and all teams followed their own paths. This turned out to be Ninth Spheres downfall...

===Destruction===
Shortly after the start of a new universe with galaxies being built as fast as they could with a team consisting of five or six players, adamantium was discovered in one of NS's galaxies. What would have been a blessing to bring Ninth Sphere up into the big leagues eventually brought its destruction. Eminence Front and Strawberry Pancakes who held a long standing powerful alliance scanned Ninth Spheres space and found this ada. With their close proximity they moved to BvB the headquarters galaxy through a weak extension galaxy. EF attacked from an eastern front attempting to move in. Ninth Sphere with it's five man crew completely stopped the EF advance, pulling the attacking members too close to the heart of the galaxy to escape. This went on for about thirty minutes to an hour. Unknown to Ninth Sphere which was giving it's all to take out EF, it was attacked on it's western front by SP. Unable to prevent spreading the lines too thin, EF/SP's overwhelming numbers closed in the HQ galaxy, which held the said Ada. With BvB kit's being layed on two front, Ninth Sphere burned out, to fade from memory. 

===Legacy===
YMAI's SD was considered one of the most powerful in the galaxy, who's tactics and flight abilities earned respect and hatred of many. He left the game after the loss of Ninth Sphere to pursue a degree in biology.

Projectile who's shmonk was undentable and pioneered pax selly slaves stood as an inspiration to future shield monkeys. He left the game but returned, status and future prospects unknown. 

Jrodpower/Danger
Two brothers who played together, they showed that the bond of brotherhood was not lost to the ability of multiclienting. Danger pursues a degree in business. Jrod's status is unknown

Stargeneral- The lively spice of the team moved on to study mathematics in Canada

Neba- Neba took the destruction very personally, learning to love this team like brothers. He went on a vengeful piracy spree, liquidating his character to improve his Seer to torment those who destroyed his SS family. Originally pirating without bias, he then moved to strictly pirating EF/SP/The Legion and Light Commerce (for traditions sake) during a time of EF/SP tyranny. His contributions led to a spike in seer characters, befriending character Lemon. He quit with the onset of T21 being unable to compete with the more resistant ships. He joined the Army to become a Biomedical Equipment Technician (repair medical equipment) only to return to the game to try to establish a legitimate presence. That and write this article..
