= Getting & Using Allied Commendations =

The easiest way to get Commendations is to take Daily Sortie, then Earthforce Command, travel to Alliance Fleet Beachhead, dock at Earthforce Command, grab the Security Dispatch mission and its submission, then mine the asteroids in the galaxy using [[Mining Damage]]. Aveksaka light fighters will spawn. Kill them to get Earthforce Survivors. Five of these are enough to complete the Security Dispatch mission and get your [[Allied Commendations]]. Survivors are also able to be tossed to your other characters.

Once you have the boss kill for a given skill and if you don’t win the roll for the skill commod you can complete some missions to get one by yourself! Here’s how:
Go to the [[Allied Staging Sector]], dock at the Paxian base to get the mission for the commod, which requires [[Allied Commendations]]. Go to the EF base, get both missions -- they each give you a random item that unlocks one of several possible missions.

= Notes =
Commendations are neurobound, but the commods you get with them are not! These have a 5 hour half-life so don't go and get it before you have the mission kill!!! All missions can be completed with help, but you should be in a squad with the mission bearer as squad lead. Instance spawns will not spawn if squad leader isn’t the one with the mission and kills split outside of squad will often not grant the kill to the mission bearer. It is possible that these missions won't give you a commod for the next mission. Something like 1/4 chance both at “Sortie” and then when you go to get the specific mission from the given faction.
