Currently, trade-bots in game only have the option of buying all or selling all; I propose conditional statements that can be a part of their orders that will allow the bot to compare and purchase/sell items when the conditions are met. For instance: -Dock at Station X -If Baobabs price > 600 -Sell Baobabs Higher levels of programming could allow more complex interactions with the game instead of just the quantity of orders allowed. So perhaps you could have a high-level 'skip' option, where if a condition such as hull capacity is met the bot will skip to the indicated step. Here's a potential order list that could be made, allowing you to sell baobabs at two different stations from a home station at 600 credits. 1-Dock at Station Home 2-Buy Baobabs 3-Jump to galaxy B 4-Dock at Station X 5-If Baobabs price > 600 6-Sell Baobabs 7-If Hull < 30 8-Skip to 16 9-Jump to galaxy C 10-Dock at Station Y 11-If Baobabs price > 600 12-Sell Baobabs 13-If Hull > 30 14-Skip to 3 15-Jump to galaxy B 16-Jump to galaxy A In this example, if a bot sells all of its merchandise it will immediately return home to resupply. If it does not, it will continue to the next station. If it doesn't sell at either station then it will loop between the two until it does. You can potentially have the bot run completely different routes using this feature. In game, I believe that this would allow for easier supply chains in team play, and enable markets to stabilize as it'd be less risky for trade bots to operate without supervision, especially for players that are merchants without bases. A simple UI addition would allow significantly more interesting trade interactions.
