The item is called Vortex Conv not Vortex Converter. It is a base item that turns 1 Kromelite and 1 Blue Vapor into 1 Vortex Pellets, costing 1000 credits every 20 seconds. This item can be purchased in Handel's Cove or Steppes.

- Train Warp Navigation up to 2 in Handel's Cove
- Train Nanotech Plating up to 10 in Deflector
