All of these cannot be removed from a base once transferred, are very cheap and are sometimes downgrades to normal counterparts (such as the commodity extractors being half as fast but very cheap, or the hydroponics, none of which produce as many Space Oats as a normal Hydroponics).

The Junkyard is a system run by Creaky the Robot.

You can exchange for Station Gear Tokens for various base gear. You can purchase base commodity extractors that extract half as fast as normal extractors, junkyard hydroponics and station extensors. All of these cannot be scrapped once purchased and decay with the universe reset.

You can also unlock a set of missions that will offer you Junkyard Tweaks, many of which can be very useful.
