Repair Kits

When a base has been destroyed, it is possible to repair the existing base remains so that what is inside is not lost (though it can be shipped out anyway) and there is no necessity to demolish the base and start from scratch. This is achieved with a repair kit, activated from a player ship whilst docked.

Depending on the tech level of the base, different repair kits are required for the reconstruction. Anything up to tech 6 (for example if the base were made using any base kit below base kit IV) may be repaired by an ares repair kit. Anything tech 9 requires Adonis (matching the gear; energybank, protector etc.) tech 12 requires argonaut and so on (see Base Gear for tech level details).

These kits have to be constructed in other bases before they can be used; one may only buy the blueprint for repair kits. All repair kits blueprints are for sale in Shadow.
