Cloaks are devices to reduce the Visibility of a ship. Generally speaking, the bigger the cloak, the better. High level cloaks often take a lot of space in a ship but they decrease visibility significantly more than smaller cloaks do. Cloaks use energy when they are active (toggled with the 'b' key). When a cloak is active on a ship (player or AI), a blue swirl is displayed around it. To use higher tech cloaks the Cloaking skill is needed.
