Boarding Hooks is a tech 21 item inbuilt onto the Prawn.

It fires 4 salvos of Kidd's Boarding Hooks, capable of reaching 1000 range and dealing a total of 1,200 damage with 0.24 DPE. It also requires 5,000 energy to charge and recharges at a rate of 250/s, thus having a natural cooldown of 20 seconds.

The projectiles will apply a reverse knockback effect upon the target on impact, effectively hooking them towards your current position.

Note that it has a feature similar to the berserker reactive hull explosions. For every point of damage you take, the device will be charged with 0.05 extra energy. Receiving 100,000 damage will instantaneously recharge the item.
