Prospecting
Prospecting is the extraction of resources using a specially designed Tractor beam that comes from Capella. These beams may be used on Stars, Planets, and Moons. Certain commodities will only spawn on certain types of solar bodies.
While Prospecting you may find special resources unique to prospecting or other high valued commodities.
Effective extraction speed will vary from that listed - Extraction Power increases extraction speed above that listed (such that higher Extraction Power Tractors function relatively more quickly than their listed extraction speed would indicate). This is separate and independent of the ramp up in speed experienced when a given commodity has been extracted for a given period of time.
