The domain of the Fallen.

Ruined Sanctuary is a Tech 23 zone situated deep into the Kalthi Depths. It contains three powerful bosses with unique loot pertaining to the Delquads of Perilous Space and Kalthi Depths.

These boss Rifts are unique in that they only allow a maximum squad size of two -- allowing only a pair of intrepid explorers to challenge and discover the secrets of the Delquads. Should all players in the squad fall and enter stasis, the bosses will fully reset back to their initial states and recover, forcing players to restart the fight from scratch.

Guard room

The Nebula presents a matter of stealth and detection to those that enter -- players must find and kill three Haraka guards that prowl hidden in the room. In the centre lies the gate to the Minefield in which the Minelayer boss resides, but players must sweep through a minefield on their approach.

These guards will stab at players with short range energy beams, and will periodically fire a wave of physical projectiles that greatly reduce speed on impact. Following this wave is a salvo of several AoE torpedoes that can annihilate clusters caught in their wake.

Upon destruction, each of the Nebula guards will drop a pair of items that will assist with the detection and clearing of the mines, or the remaining guards.

Boss room

For the majority of the fight, the Fallen Minelayer is invulnerable to direct weapon damage. Instead, players must damage Gigantic Mines down to half shields, triggering a radial shield degeneration that can damage the boss. These mines can be moved with Tractors and knockback, and will indiscriminately shred the shields of the boss, the guards, and player ships/drones/bots alike.

Leaving the minefield's asteroid cluster will force the Minelayer's hand, laying stealthed mines to catch players that stray too far. Throughout the fight, the Fallen Minelayer will call for guards that will harrass the player -- up to (3? 4?) can be present in the arena at once, and can be disruptive if left unaddressed.

At 50% shields, Minelayer lays stealthed mines across the entire arena, forcing players to choose between clearing space at the cost of incoming damage, or to stay still within a restricted combat area. These mines eventually self-destruct safely over the course of (2? 3?) minutes, after which players can freely navigate the arena.

The last 10% of Minelayer's shields heralds the fragmentation of its armor, allowing players to finish it off with direct weapon damage.
