Outpost 1 Manager needs your help mining Green Ore and dealing with the mini Heliotrope infestation. You wonder if the sudden Heliotrope infestation has anything to do with the Malachite. Bring back 10 Green Ore and kill 10 mini Heliotropes.
Objectives | |||||||
Mine 10 Green Ore from the asteroid belt the station is located in, and destroy 10 Mini Heliotropes to receive the shipment and report to bring back.
Mission Text | |||||||
Yes, we saw the Malachite, but didn't watch it too carefully. About two days before the Malachite entered our space we started finding mini Heliotropes in our asteroid rings. They're cute little guys and their bark is much worse than their bite, but they're using up all of the Green Ore that we've been sending to the empire to reinforce ships and space stations. Our supply is dwindling quite low and we may not make our next shipment without help. Mine some Green Ore and clean out some of the mini Heliotropes, then I'll send you back to the emperor with our report and a shipment of ore.
| |||||||
Completion Text | |||||||
Thank you, Simon. We will make our next shipment on time, and our miners will be able to get back to the business of mining now that the Heliotropes have been thinned a bit.

Mission Text | |||||||
By now, the Malachite should be heading toward outpost 2. See if you can get there ahead of it and observe it's behavior first hand. Also keep your eyes out for any other strange occurences as it gets close.

The Zoisites are swarming. Kill 10 Zoisites and collect 10 Green Ingots from their dead hulls using surgical lasers!
Objectives | |||||||
Destroy 10 Zoisites and use a surgical laser to collect 10 Green Ingots from the wreckage in the asteroid belt to receive the shipment and report to bring back.
Mission Text | |||||||
As you near the main asteroid belt viewing station in anticipation of the Malachite's passing, you notice that there are already small green ships swarming over the asteroids. "Those are not Heliotropes," says a harried miner. "Zoisites," he screams into a wall comm and runs off. They don't look particularly harmful to you, but it wouldn't be good to return to the Green Emperor without helping defend this outpost. If you can find a surgical laser, the outpost could use some help collecting Green Ingots from the dead Zoisite husks in the asteroid belts. Use surgical on their husks to crack them open.
| |||||||
Completion Text | |||||||
Thank you, Simon. That was a close call. Zoisites are small, but when they swarm like that, they really pack a punch.
